Today, 12/4, you can download my “Bringing Home the Perfect Christmas Tree” quilt block pattern for FREE! I designed this "Bringing Home the Perfect Christmas Tree" block for a Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine Christmas booklet a few years ago and I decided that it needed to be a permanent pattern in my shop. Now, it’s my gift to you this Christmas! The pattern includes measurements and instructions to make 6”, 9”, 12”, 18”, and 24” finished blocks so it’s perfect for any quilt, table runner, pillow, wall-hanging, or potholder project…and everything in between! Fun story: A few Christmases ago, my family and I picked up a Christmas tree from a local tree lot and we're driving home when "All Want for Christmas is You" came in the radio. In true "us" fashion, all of us started dancing and singing at the top of our lungs. We pulled up to a stop light and apparently the man in the truck next to us had the same radio station on because he looked over at us and started dancing and singing too!) It was absolutely hilarious and so fun! That's what this block reminds me of. Quilters stitch our stories in our stitches and this block is a way to tell about fun Christmas memories.
